His path into IT was anything but traditional: from electrician to electrical security consultant to passionate coder – a real career change with an upgrade guarantee! It’s easy to see that Daniel is passionate about what he does: TypeScript inspires him, JavaScript makes him smile – and elegant codebases are like little works of art to him.
Daniel & Leisure
Daniel’s versatility is also evident away from the screen. After several years in Valencia, he is back in his hometown of Thun – where he enjoys the best of both worlds: urban inspiration and the tranquillity of the mountains right on his doorstep. When he’s not researching new technologies, he likes to get out into nature – hiking or enjoying long reading sessions, often with a scientific topic in hand. Sci-fi and fantasy films are not just a source of pleasure for him, but inspire him to new ways of thinking – just like a good coffee, which for him is simply part of a productive day. His preferred mode – clearly dark mode. So clear that he has even created his own.

David & Ostendis
It is a match!
With David, power has moved into the development team. As a software engineer, he not only has a passion for clean code, but also a good dose of ambition. David rarely does things by halves – 110% is the standard rather than the exception for him. 🚀
He loves familiarizing himself with new IT worlds, building his own servers and throwing himself into open source projects. In doing so, he always pursues a clear goal: to constantly develop himself further. His energy and drive are not only noticeable in his job – they permeate everything he tackles.
David & Freetime
David also likes a challenge in his free time. He regularly tests his physical and mental limits in the gym – with focus, discipline and the will to surpass himself. His enthusiasm for technology meets an active lifestyle – a combination that simply suits him well and is a wonderful addition to Ostendis.
When things do get quieter, he finds the perfect balance in nature – on long walks with his faithful companion Milo, a French bulldog with a lot of character and even more charm. 🐾 The two of them are a well-rehearsed team, whether they are taking a break to think in the countryside or switching off after an intensive day at work.
